Great Event, But Venue Had Some Issues
The event was well done by Gareth Emery and fun. Some of the venue staff were not very friendly or helpful, as we experienced when we asked to let my son walk in the floor seating area after the event ended to take a picture of him with the ring in background. The staff got very huffy and said no, despite our explanation that we just wanted a pic and they could escort him. She abruptly cut me off, speaking in a way that made us feel like a security threat. Seating was uncomfortable for a 3.5 hour event, especially when having to turn at an angle the entire time to see the ring, which was not centered well in the arena. The doors were supposed to open at 6, but did not open until 6:15, causing inconvenience as it was very cold outside and there were delays in getting in due to security checks.
